# How to Find and Save Favourite Searches

The **Search** feature on the Explore page allows you to quickly find ads by keyword, brand, or creative detail — and with **Favorite Searches**, you can save your most-used queries for instant access.

If you're looking for saved filters or saved search filters, this is the feature you want. Your whole filter combination is saved with the search, so you don't need to bookmark the page or reapply anything by hand.

## 1. Finding Ads with Search

1. Go to the **Explore** page: [https://app.gethookd.ai/explore](https://app.gethookd.ai/explore)  
2. Click the **Search** field at the top of the page.  
3. Type a keyword, brand name, or ad characteristic (e.g., *Nike*, *protein shake*, *pet supplies*).  
4. Press **Enter** to run the search.  
5. Use filters (e.g., **Performance**, **Ad format**) to narrow your results.

|| 💡 **Tip:** Combine keywords with multiple filters to get the most relevant ads.

## 2. Accessing Recent Searches

* When you click in the **Search** field, you’ll see a list of your **recent searches**.  
* Click any recent search to instantly re-run it without retyping or reapplying filters.  
* Recent searches update automatically as you run new searches.

## 3. Saving a Search as a Favorite

1. After entering your keyword and applying filters, click **Save** (the star) in the **Filters** bar, just left of **Reset**.  
2. You'll see a **Search saved successfully!** message, and the button switches to **Saved**.  
3. Your search — including every applied filter — is now in your **Favorite searches** list.

|| 💡 **Tip:** If you change a filter after saving, the button goes back to **Save** — click it again to store the new combination.

## 4. Using Favorite Searches

* Click the **star icon** at the top right of the Search bar — it's labelled **Favorite searches**.  
* Your saved searches open in a list, each one showing the filters it carries (Performance, Ad format, Niche, and so on) so you can tell them apart at a glance.  
* Choose any saved search to instantly run it with all its original filters.

## Advanced: Manage Favorite Searches via API or MCP

Power users on an annual plan, or on monthly Team or Agency, can also create, list, update, and delete saved searches programmatically — great for syncing recurring research queries from a dashboard, a Zapier flow, or an AI agent.

Trying to create a saved search with a name you've already used returns a clear validation error, so you won't end up with silent duplicates.

## FAQs

**Where are my saved filters?**

They're in **Favorite searches** — click the star icon at the top right of the Search bar. There's no separate "saved filters" area; a saved search already carries its full filter set.

**Can I delete or rename a favorite search?**

Yes! Both are just a click away. Open your **Favorite searches** by clicking the star icon on the top right of the Search bar, then find the saved search you want to change:

* **To delete it:** click the ⭐ star icon next to its name — it’ll be removed right away.
* **To rename it:** hover over the search and click the pencil (edit) icon that appears, type the new name, and press **Enter** to save.

That’s it — your changes take effect instantly, no need to reach out to us :)
