Instead of guessing, search millions of stores directly and see their traffic, their live ads, their full product catalog, and their tech stack, all in one place. ## Before you start * **Plan:** Available on all paid plans. * **Credits:** Browsing, searching, filtering, and viewing shop profiles is completely free — no credits needed. * **Navigation:** In the sidebar, open **Discover Ads → Shops**. * **Estimated time:** 1–2 minutes to find and explore a store. --- ## Step-by-step ### 1. Open Shops From the left sidebar, click **Discover Ads**, then select **Shops**. You'll land on the main Shops list — a table of stores you can search, filter, and sort. --- ### 2. Search for a store Use the search bar at the top of the page to look up a store by name or keyword. --- ### 3. Browse with preset tabs Just below the search bar, a row of quick tabs lets you jump straight to a useful slice of the store list: * **All shops** — every store in the index. * **Traffic growth leaders** — stores growing their traffic the fastest. * **50K+ monthly traffic** — established stores with meaningful traffic. * **New shops** — recently added stores. * **Favorite Shops** — stores you've saved (see step 5). --- ### 4. Filter and sort Click **Filters** to narrow the list down. Filters are grouped so you can zero in fast: * **Market** — origin country, visitor country, niche, language, currency, Shopify plan, and when the shop was created. * **Performance** — monthly traffic, traffic growth, active-ads growth, product count, active Meta ads, and Trustpilot rating or review count. * **Tech stack** — the store's theme, the apps it has installed, and the ad pixels it's running. There's also a **Shopify stores only** toggle if you want to be sure you're only seeing verified Shopify stores. Use the **sort dropdown** in the top-right to reorder the list by Most relevant, Most monthly traffic, Fastest traffic growth, Fastest active-ads growth, Most products, Newest shops, Most active Meta Ads, or Trustpilot rating. You can also click any column header in the table to sort by it directly. --- ### 5. Save a store to your favorites Click the **bookmark icon** on any store's row (or on its profile page) to save it. Saved stores show up under the **Favorite Shops** tab, so you can build a running list of stores worth watching. --- ### 6. Open a store's full profile Click any store's name to open its profile. You'll see the store's logo, description, country, language, currency, when it was created, and its social handles at the top, along with **Link to store** and **Open in Meta Ad Library** buttons. Below that, four tabs break down everything we know about the store: * **Shop Analytics** — a **Traffic** chart showing monthly visits over time (toggle between 3M / 6M / All), a breakdown of which countries the store's traffic comes from, an **Active Ads** chart with a Facebook Pages breakdown (each linked page shows its active Meta ad count, and you can jump straight into tracking it — see step 7), the store's most-used landing pages, and the Shopify apps it has installed. * **Products** — the store's product catalog, with prices and category tags. Sort by Best Seller or Last Published, and click **View all** to see the full list. * **Meta Ads** — every Meta ad the store is currently running, with the same search, sort, and filter tools you'd use in Brand Spy. * **Similar shops** — a handful of other stores with a similar profile, each with its own mini traffic and active-ads trend so you can compare at a glance. Click **Open shop** on any of them to jump straight to their profile. --- ### 7. Track a store's ads in Brand Spy If a store's ads catch your eye, you don't need to leave Shops to start tracking them. On the **Meta Ads** tab (or the Facebook Pages list under Shop Analytics), click **Spy** next to the Facebook Page you want to track. This adds that brand to your **Brand Spy** dashboard, so you can follow their ad activity going forward. Browsing a store's ads inside Shops itself stays free. --- ## Success check * You can search or filter and see a list of matching stores with traffic, product, and ad data filled in. * Opening a store's profile shows its traffic chart, product grid, and current Meta ads within a few seconds. * Clicking the bookmark icon adds the store to your **Favorite Shops** tab immediately. --- ## Troubleshooting * **A store I know isn't showing up.** Shops indexes Shopify stores specifically, and new stores are added to the index over time — if a store is very new or very small, it may not be in there yet. * **No results match my filters.** Try removing one filter at a time, starting with the narrowest ones (like Trustpilot reviews or a specific theme) — combining too many filters can shrink the results to zero. * **Traffic or product numbers look outdated.** Traffic, ad counts, and product data refresh periodically rather than in real time, so very recent changes at a store may take a little while to show up. * **I don't see Shops in my sidebar.** Make sure you have an active paid subscription. If it's still missing, reach out to our support team via live chat. --- ## FAQs * **Q: Does browsing Shops cost credits?** A: No. Searching, filtering, sorting, and viewing store profiles in Shops is completely free. * **Q: What's the difference between Shops and Brand Spy?** A: Shops is a research and discovery tool for finding and studying Shopify stores — their traffic, products, and tech stack, all for free. Brand Spy is for ongoing tracking of a specific brand's ad activity over time, and costs credits to start. * **Q: How do I save a store to look at later?** A: Click the bookmark icon on the store's row or profile page. It'll appear under the **Favorite Shops** tab. * **Q: Can I start tracking a store's ads without leaving Shops?** A: Yes.
