Manage Your Monthly Subscription
GetHookd.ai offers a range of subscription plans designed to support different marketing needs — from discovering high-performing ads to advanced competitive analysis and AI-powered creative production. This guide will help you understand how to subscribe to a monthly plan, manage your billing, and upgrade, downgrade, or cancel as needed.
Choosing and Subscribing to a Plan
- Navigate to the Plans Page:
Click on your Profile Picture from the main navigation and then select Pricing Plans tab.

- Review the Plan Options:
Browse the features, credits, and seats included in each plan to choose the one that best fits your needs.
- Choose a Plan:
Click Start Your 7-Day Free Trial under the plan you want to subscribe to (Starter, Pro, Team, or Agency).

- Enter Payment Information:
After selecting a plan, you’ll be redirected to Stripe’s secure checkout to enter your payment details.

Note: GetHookd.ai processes payments securely through Stripe. Prepaid cards are not accepted — they will be automatically declined. If your payment fails, please try again with a standard debit or credit card.
- Confirm Your Payment:
Review your details and click Pay and Subscribe to finalize your subscription.
- Plan Activation:
Once completed, return to the Plans page. The button under your active plan will switch to Your Current Plan.
After Subscription
After your subscription is processed, you can immediately begin using all features included in your selected plan.
You will also receive a confirmation email with your subscription details.
Upgrading Your Subscription
- Choose a Higher Plan:
Click the Upgrade button under the plan you want to switch to.
- Billing Adjustment:
You won’t pay the full price of the new plan again. Instead, the system calculates a prorated amount based on the remaining days in your current billing cycle:
- You receive a credit for the unused days on your current plan
- You’re charged the prorated cost of the new plan for the remaining days
- On your next billing date, you’ll be charged the full price of the new plan as normal
Example: If you upgrade from Starter ($29/mo) to Pro ($59/mo) halfway through your billing cycle, you’d receive a ~$14.50 credit for your unused Starter days and be charged ~$29.50 for the remaining Pro days — so you’d pay roughly $15 right away, not the full $59.
You can preview the exact prorated amount before confirming your upgrade on the Plans page.

Downgrading Your Subscription
- Choose a Lower Plan:
Click the Downgrade button under the plan you want to move to.
Notes: Your current plan remains active until the end of the billing cycle. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You retain full access to your current plan’s features until the cycle ends.Renewals and Billing
- Monthly Billing Cycle: All monthly subscriptions renew every 30 days.
- Automatic Renewal: Your plan will renew automatically unless canceled.
- Separate Invoices: Subscription charges and credit pack purchases are billed separately for better tracking.

How to Find Your Invoices
You can access all your invoices and payment history directly from your account:
- Click on your Profile Picture in the top navigation
- Go to Account Settings
- Click on the Subscription tab
- Click Manage Subscription — this opens your Stripe billing portal
- From there, you can view, download, and print all past invoices
Each invoice includes the charge amount, date, plan name, and any discounts applied. Subscription charges and credit pack purchases appear as separate invoices for easy tracking.

On a Legacy Plan (Launch, Grow, Scale, or Growth)?
If you're currently on one of our previous plans (Launch, Grow, Scale, or Growth), your existing pricing and features remain active as long as you stay on your current plan. You can switch to any of the new plans (Starter, Pro, Team, or Agency) anytime — upgrades apply immediately, downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Once you switch, you cannot return to a legacy plan.

FAQs
If I upgrade my plan, will I have to pay the full amount again?
No When you upgrade mid-cycle, you only pay the prorated difference. You get a credit for the unused days on your current plan, and you’re only charged for the remaining days on the new plan. You can preview the exact amount before confirming on the Plans page.
If I change my plan while I’m on a free trial, will it end my trial?
Yes — upgrading or downgrading your plan during your free trial will end the trial immediately, and billing will start right away on the new plan. We’d recommend waiting until your trial ends so you can take full advantage of the free trial period first. If you’re not sure which plan is right for you, reach out to us in chat and we’ll help you pick the best fit before your trial ends
What Happens When Your Subscription Ends
If your subscription expires or is canceled, access to all app features is restricted — including the Explore page, Swipe File, Brand Spy, Clone Ads, and saving ads. The only pages available are:
- Plans page — where you can re-subscribe at any time
- Account Settings — where you can manage your account details
Your saved data (swipe file, boards, spied brands) is not deleted and will be available again as soon as you re-subscribe.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle and will not renew afterward.
