⏳ Your Free Trial: What's Included and What Happens Next

Your free trial gives you the real product — not a stripped-back version — so you can find out whether GetHookd fits how you work before you pay for it.

What you get

• 7 days free on the Starter, Pro and Team plans.
• The Agency plan has no free trial. If you want to try GetHookd first, start a trial on another plan and move up later.
• Access to GetHookd for the length of your trial, with a starting set of trial credits for the tools that use credits. These are separate from your plan's regular monthly credits, and you can earn more during the trial by completing the steps under Unlock trial credits in the app, such as saving your first ad.

Starting your trial

Pick a plan on the Plans page and follow the checkout. You'll be asked for a card even though you're not paying yet — it's what lets your subscription continue automatically if you decide to stay.

You may see a temporary $1 hold from Stripe when you enter your card. That's a card check, not a charge, and it disappears on its own.

When the trial ends

At the end of day 7, your subscription starts automatically and your card is charged for the plan you chose. Nothing else changes — your boards, saved ads and tracked brands stay exactly as they are.

To avoid being charged, cancel before the 7 days are up. Keep in mind that cancelling ends your trial access right away, not on the trial's last day. If you change your mind, you can usually restore the trial from your Subscription page until its original end date. See Cancel Subscription for the steps.

Two things that catch people out

Switching plans during a trial usually ends it. In most cases the trial stops there and you're charged for the new plan straight away. The exception is moving from a monthly trial to a yearly plan, which can keep your trial running. Either way, the confirmation screen tells you which applies before you confirm: it reads either "No charge today. Your free trial continues…" or "Starting paid now ends your trial and begins billing immediately." If you're only exploring, stay on one plan until the trial finishes.

You can only have one free trial. Trials are per customer, not per account — so if you've trialled GetHookd before, a new signup won't get another one. When that happens the button reads Get Started instead of Start free trial, and you're charged as soon as you subscribe. That's working as intended, not a bug

Making the trial count

Seven days goes quickly. If you only do three things, do these:

1. Run a real search on Explore. Use a product or angle you're actually working on, not a test query.
2. Spy on a competitor with Brand Spy and watch what they're running.
3. Save the ads worth stealing from into your Swipe File so you leave with something usable.

• Q: Do I need a card to start a trial?

A: Yes. You're not charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends.

• Q: Do I get credits during the trial?

A: Yes. You start with a set of trial credits and can unlock more by completing the steps under Unlock trial credits. Credit packs can't be bought during a trial — they become available once your paid plan starts.

• Q: Can I extend my trial?

• Q: I cancelled during my trial. Do I lose access immediately?

A: Yes. Access stops as soon as you cancel, and you won't be charged. If you cancelled by mistake, open Subscription and click Restore my trial — it's offered until your trial's original end date. See Cancel Subscription for details.
